Thanks from Winds of Hope
A Taste of Africa - 25th October

A huge thank-you to everyone who attended and helped at our recent A Taste of Africa event.  It was a very successful night, and we are overwhelmed by the support of our friends, colleagues and the community for our work in Uganda.

I've uploaded some photos from the night to https://www.windsofhope.com.au/activities/atasteofafrica, as well as on Facebook.  The purpose of the night, aside from fundraising, was to raise awareness of our healthcare programs in Uganda, as well as our primary school scholarships.  Our short-term goal is to sponsor more than 300 primary school girls, and we're well on our way towards that.  Longer term, the goal is to build multi-purpose primary schools in rural Uganda.

Help by Sponsoring a Primary School Student
Sponsorship costs as little as $8/week, and covers all the fees, meals, uniform and scholastic materials for a primary school girl or boy who would not normally be able to afford to attend.  That's under the cost of two coffees per week!  Learn more about our sponsorship program at https://www.windsofhope.com.au/help/sponsorship, including why there are so many students unable to afford school fees.

What next?
We'll be sending out a report to our supporters and friends in the coming weeks, but I wanted to thank you in advance, as well as share some photos from the event!

Best regards,
Matthew & Stella
